Whole wheat quick bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Egg; Beaten
2 cups Buttermilk
3 tablespoons Honey; Or Molasses
tablespoon Butter Or Margarine; Melted
2 cups Whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
½ cup Chopped walnuts
½ cup Raisins

Directions

Combine egg, milk, honey and butter. Combine all dry ingredients and stir into egg mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins. Divide mixture into 2 greased 6 x 3 inch loaf pans. Bake 400 degrees 50 minutes or done. cool before slicing.

I've had this recipe a long time. It makes a satisfying bread although it is essentially a quick bread. This is in response for a good non yeast bread.
