Zucchini and tomatoes basil

2 | mediums | Zucchini(3/4 pound) |
½ | cup | Diced onion |
1 | teaspoon | Dried basil |
2 | teaspoons | Vegetable oil |
2 | mediums | Tomatoes, peeled and chopped |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper (up to 1/4) |
Directions
Cut zucchini into ¼ inch slices; set aside. Saute onion and basil in oil over medium heat 1 minute. Add zucchini, and cook 5 minutes, stirrring occasionally.
