Black bean hummus

Ingredients

1 | cup | Dried black beans |
¼ | cup | Tahini |
1 | tablespoon | Low-sodium tamari |
1 | tablespoon | Balsamic vinegar |
2 | Garlic cloves; minced | |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cumin |
pinch | Cayenne pepper |
Directions
Cook the beans in 3 cups of water for 60 to 90 minutes on the stovetop, or 15 to 20 minutes in the pressure cooker.
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend untilsmooth and creamy. Stop machine occasionally and scrape sides down with a spatula to combine all ingredients.
Serve at room temperature.
