1 | teaspoon | Dried oregano |
½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
Salt to taste | ||
1½ | cup | Uncooked instant brown rice |
1 | pounds | Pork sausage links -- cooked |
& sliced |
Directions
In a skillet, heat oil. Cook onion until tender. Add the tomataes, beans and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add sausage and let stand 5 minutes. Yield: 6-8 servings
