Bob jacob's cucumber salad - country cooking

Ingredients

4 mediums Cucumbers, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
1 small Red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup Distilled white vinegar
¼ cup Sugar
½ cup Water
3 tablespoons Chopped fresh dill

Directions

1 In large serving bowl, combine cucumbers and onion; set aside, 2. In 1-quart saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, and water. Heat to boiling over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

3. Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers and onion. Add dill and toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate several flours or overnight before serving.
