Broccoli & rice

Ingredients

1½ | cup | Minute rice |
1½ | cup | Fresh broccoli |

10 | ounces | Frozen broccoli |
1 | can | 16 oz. cream of mushroom soup |
½ | cup | Chopped onion |
1 | cup | Velveeta cheese, diced |
½ | cup | Butter |
1 | pounds | Ground beef |
½ | cup | Chopped celery, optional |
Directions
Dice velveeta cheese so it will melt easier. Chop the broccoli into bit size pieces or if frozen, pour boiling water over to thaw. Chop onion. Chop celery if desired. Cook rice according to directions. Add cheese and soup to hot rice. Prepare broccoli. Brown ground beef.
Saute onion in the butter. Combine ingredients and pour into greased casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Use sausage instead of ground beef, if desired. Regular rice may be used.
