Brussels sprouts piquant

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ each Onion
tablespoon Canola oil
6⅔ ounce Frozen brussels sprouts
tablespoon Flour
cup Tomato juice
teaspoon Sugar
1 x Salt
1/16 teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoons Shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Slice onion, saute in oil, remove and put in casserole dish with brussels sprouts. To onion drippings, add flour, mix well, add tomato juice, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour thickened sauce over sprouts. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes or microwave for 5 minutes. Submitted By SHEILA EXNER On 09-03-95
