Butterscotch yams

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 mediums Yams -- cook,peel, quarter
½ cup Light corn syrup -- or dark
½ cup Firmly packed light brown
Sugar
¼ cup Evaporated skim milk
1 teaspoon Butter
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 325F. Arrange yams in single layer in 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Bake 15 min. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a med. saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over med.

heat, boilf for 5 min. Por over yams. Return dish to oven and bake, basting frequently, for at least 15 min.
