Cheese waffles
1 Servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
2 | Eggs | |
1¾ | cup | Milk |
⅛ | cup | Vegetable oil; ( less oil the more cheese you use) (up to 1/4) |
2 | cups | All purpose flour |
4 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
3 | cups | Cheese; (up to 4) |
Directions
Heat waffle iron. Beat eggs until fluffy, beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth. Pour batter from cup onto center of hot waffle iron.
Cook 2½ minutes for sowaffles, 4 minutes for crispy waffles. Remove carefully. Serves 4. Tastes great all by itself or with toppings.
If the waffles are coming out too greasy, reduce oil, not cheese. (I can never help myself, I always add more cheese! My waistline will attest to that!)
