Chestnut meatballs

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Bread crumbs; soft
½ pounds Pork sausage; bulk
½ pounds Groundbeef
8 ounces Water chestnuts; chopped
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
½ teaspoon Garlic salt
¼ teaspoon Onion powder
½ cup Milk
9 ounces Sweet & sour sauce

Directions

Combine all ingredients excedpt sweet & sour sauce; mix well and shape into 1 inch balls. Place in a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish; bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Drain meatballs and return to baking dish. Add sauce; stir lightly to coat meatballs. Bake meatballs and sauce an additional 15 minutes. Yield: 3 dozen.
