4 ounces Salt pork,diced
2 tablespoons Flour
1 Medium head red cabbage
½ cup Chopped onion
½ cup Dry red wine
teaspoon Ground pepper

Directions

Heat oven to 350'. Cook and stir salt pork in Dutch oven over medium heat until crisp; add onion. Cook and stir until onion is tender.

Stir in flour. Remove from heat. Coarsely shred cabbage. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and bake until cabbage is tender, about 1 hour. Season with salt if desired.
