Cilantro sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 Garlic cloves
1 Serrano or jalapeno chile
2 cups (about 2 bunches) cilantro leaves
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
¼ cup Fresh lime juice; (from 3 to 4 limes)
cup Extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Combine the garlic, chile, cilantro, salt and lime juice in a blender or food processor. Blend or process until the mixture forms a smooth puree.

Transfer to a small bowl, stir in the olive oil, taste, and adjust the seasonings.

Yield: About 1½ cups
