Corn meal muffins (selby)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¾ cup Corn meal
cup Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking powder
2 tablespoons Sugar
2 Eggs
¾ cup Milk
2 tablespoons Lard

Directions

Sift dry ingredients together in bowl, add milk and melted lard and beat well. Bake 20 minutes in hot oven.

Note: Hot oven is 400 - 450 F.
