Creamy au gratin potatoes

½ | cup | Onions; chopped |
1 | can | Cream of celery soup |
3 | ounces | Cream cheese; cut into cubes |
3 | cups | Ore Ida Hash Browns, to 4 cups (can also use Potatoes O'Brien) |
⅓ | cup | Cheddar cheese; shredded |
Directions
Preheat oven to 400. Grease a 1 qt casserole dish. In saucepan, over medium heat, cook onion in 1 T margarine until tender. Stir in soup and cream cheese cubes; cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and hot. In casserole, alternatively layer frozen potatoes and hot cream sauce ending with a sauce layer.
