Crockpot style bean soup

1 | pounds | Dry navy beans; (soaked overnight) |
1½ | quart | Water |
1 | pounds | Lean; boneless ham, cut into cubes |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Pepper |
½ | cup | Chopped celery leaves |
1 | medium | Onion; chopped |
1 | Bay leaf; (optional) |
Directions
Notes: By Pepper Klitsch, Palmerton. The Times News, PA Drain the soaked beans. Combine all the ingredients in crockpot. Cover, cook on low 8 to 10 hours. (High: 4 to 5 hours.) Makes 6 servings.
