Danish apple bar for a crowd

Ingredients

cup Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Margarine
1 each Egg yolk, beaten and add enough milk to make 2/3 cups
cup Crushed cornflakes
6 cups Sliced apples
1 cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 each Egg white

Crumble together the flour, salt, baking powder and margarine. Add enough egg liquid to make a soft dough. Divide in half. Roll out one half and place on bottom of baking pan. (9x13) Sprinkle the cornflakes over crust. Combine the apples, sugar an spices together and arrange over cornflakes. Roll remaining half of pastry and place over apples. Seal. Brush top of crust with the beaten egg white.

Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in at 350F oven for about 30 minutes, or until top is a nice golden brown, and apple filling is bubbly.
