Dinner chowder

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Raw diced potatoes
¾ cup Minced onion
½ cup Deiced celery
teaspoon Salt
cup Boiling water
4 tablespoons Corn oil
4 tablespoons Flour
¼ teaspoon Pepper
½ teaspoon Dry mustard
teaspoon Bottled meat sauce (????)
2 cups Milk
1 cup Grated cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon Minced parsley
1 cup Canned tomatoes, drained and chopped.

Directions

Combine potatoes, onion, celery, salt and boiling water in a deep kettle. Simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. Heat oil and stir in flour until smooth. Add the next four ingredients while stirring.

Cook until thickened. Add cheese and stir all into the potato mixture. Add parsley and tomatoes. Heat through but not boil.
