Festive egg nog bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup All purpose flour
1 cup White sugar
1 tablespoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
¾ teaspoon Nutmeg
3 Eggs, beaten
1 cup Half and half (or cream)
cup Vegetable oil
teaspoon Vanilla extract
teaspoon Brandy extract
1 teaspoon Almond extract
½ cup Chopped almonds
½ cup Maraschino cherries

Directions

In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. In separate container beat together eggs, half and half, oil, and the three extracts. Stir into dry ingredients; mix well.

Fold in nuts and cherries. Turn into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350F for 40-45 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on rack. Makes 2 loaves, 10 servings each.
