Fig and chile salsa

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Bermuda onion -- I still
Prefer red
3 Mild chiles
Anaheim, or Californ
2 Serrano chilies -- I used
Only one
4 tablespoons Minced fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt -- or to taste
Juice of one lime

Directions

1. Roast and peel Anaheim chilies, remove seeds & stem and chop coarsely 2.

Mince onion and Serrano chile fine. Add minced cilantro. 3. Remove stem and cut figs into chunks 4. Toss all in a bowl gently to not break figs. 5.

Add sugar, salt and lime juice, mix all and allow to stand to 30 min. Serve with Chicken or grilled pork.
