Fig and chile salsa

Ingredients

1 | Bermuda onion -- I still | |
Prefer red | ||
3 | Mild chiles | |
Anaheim, or Californ | ||
2 | Serrano chilies -- I used | |
Only one | ||
4 | tablespoons | Minced fresh cilantro |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
½ | teaspoon | Salt -- or to taste |
Juice of one lime |
Directions
1. Roast and peel Anaheim chilies, remove seeds & stem and chop coarsely 2.
Mince onion and Serrano chile fine. Add minced cilantro. 3. Remove stem and cut figs into chunks 4. Toss all in a bowl gently to not break figs. 5.
Add sugar, salt and lime juice, mix all and allow to stand to 30 min. Serve with Chicken or grilled pork.
