| 4 | cups | Toasted bread cubes |
| ¼ | cup | Hot water |
| ¾ | cup | Chopped green pepper |
| ½ | cup | Chopped onion |
| ¼ | cup | Melted butter or margarine |
| 2 | teaspoons | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 2 | xes | Eggs, slightly beaten |
| 2 | xes | Flank steaks |
| 1 | x | Salt and pepper |
| 1 | x | Flour |
| 1 | x | Fat |
| ½ | cup | Water |
Directions
Combine the first eight ingredients and toss lightly with a fork.
Place steaks together and sew edges with cord, leaving an opening.
Fill with stuffing, sew edges together. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Coat with flour. Brown on both sides in a small amount of fat. Add ½ cup of water, cover and bake 2 hours or until tender.
