Four-grain muffins

Ingredients

½ | cup | Cornmeal |
¼ | cup | Oats, regular; uncooked |
¼ | cup | Flour, all-purpose |
1½ | teaspoon | Wheat germ |
2 | tablespoons | Sugar |
1¼ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | cup | Buttermilk |
¼ | cup | Oil, vegetable |
1 | Egg; beaten |
Directions
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir in sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add buttermilk, oil, and egg, stirring just until moistened (batter will be lumpy).
Fill well-greased muffin cups ⅔ full. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
