Fresh tomato bake

Ingredients

8 | mediums | Tomatoes, peel & quarter |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | teaspoon | Sugar |
½ | teaspoon | Dry mustard |
2 | tablespoons | Margarine |
2 | larges | Onions, sliced |
2½ | cup | Fresh bread crumbs |
6 | tablespoons | Margarine, melted |
¼ | cup | Grated Parmesan cheese |
Directions
Mix tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar and dry mustard until well blended.
Saute onions in margarine for 5 minutes. Mix bread crumbs and margarine until blended. In a buttered 1½ quart casserole, layer the tomato mixture, the onions, then crumbs. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 5 minutes more. Randy Rigg Submitted By RANDY RIGG On 08-22-95
