Gazar salad (carrot salad)

Ingredients

500 grams Carrots; grated (1lb)
1 Heaped teaspoon Dijon mustard
4 tablespoons Olive oil
tablespoon Herb vinegar
¼ teaspoon Chilli powder; (optional)

Directions

Put the grated carrots in a bowl.

To make the dressing, put the mustard in a bowl, add the oil and mix with a fork, then add the vinegar and chilli powder (if using).

Mix very thoroughly, then pour over the carrots.

Toss well until all the carrot is coated with the dressing.

Serve at once.
