1 | pounds | Flank steak |
¼ | cup | Sherry |
¼ | cup | Light soy sauce |
Directions
Press ginger, garlic and pepper to taste into both sides of steak; place in shallow casserole or plastic bag. Combine sherry and soy sauce; pour over meat. Cover or close bag and refrigerate overnight.
Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Place meat on broiler pan and brush with marinade. Broil 2 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned. Turn, baste with marinate and broil for 2 to 3 minutes longer or until desired doneness. Slice steak diagonally across the grain in very thin slices. Make about 4 servings.
