1 | quart | French vanilla ice cream softened |
1 | small | Evaporated milk |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
½ | cup | Sugar |
2 | ounces | Bittersweet chocolate |
½ | teaspoon | Vanilla |
Whipped cream | ||
Slivered almonds; toasted |

SAUCE
Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter; pack into pie pan to make crust, then freeze. Spoon in ice cream; store in freezer. Combine evaporated milk, butter, sugar, chocolate and vanilla in saucepan; cook over low heat until sauce is smooth, stirring frequently. Let cool. Serve pie topped with sauce, whipped cream and slivered almonds. NOTE: Can also use chocolate, butter pecan or just about any flavor ice cream you desire.
