Greek salad burgers

Greek salad
1 cup Seeded and diced vine
Ripened tomatoes
2 tablespoons Chopped red onion
6 Kalamata olives -- pitted
And chopped
2 teaspoons Extra virgin olive oil
½ teaspoon Oregano
Salt and freshly ground
Pepper -- to taste
Burgers
pounds Ground lamb
cup Crumbled feta cheese
1 large Clove garlic -- minced
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
Vegetable oil -- for
Brushing grill
4 Pita breads -- split to form
Pocket

Directions

Prepare barbecue for medium-high heat. In small bowl, combine all Greek salad ingredients; toss well and set aside. In large bowl, combine burger ingredients; form into 4 patties about ¾-inch thick. Brush grill rack with oil. Grill burgers, covered, 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Transfer burgers to pita pockets. Spoon Greek Salad on top of burgers. Serves 4
