Green bean casserole - butter busters^

Ingredients

2 eaches Tb liquid Butter buds or fatfree chicken broth
¼ cup Wheat germ
4 eaches Tb quick oats oatmeal
4 teaspoons Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
2 cups Green beans, cut in inch-and-a-half pieces
cup Sliced mushrooms
1 cup Chopped onion
1 cup Nonfat sour cream
4 teaspoons Cornstarch

Directions

In a 8 or 9" pie plate, microwave Butter Buds or chicken broth, wheat germ, oatmeal, Italian seasoning and garlic powder on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Remove mixture from pie plate; set aside. In the same plate, combine beans, mushrooms and onion.

Microwave on high 3-4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in combined sour crean and cornstarch, coating vegetables thoroughly.

Microwave on high 1½ to 2 ½ minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened; stir. Sprinkle reserved wheat germ mixture over the top before serving.
