Helen's chili sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
9 Tomatoes, ripe, peeled
1 Onion, chopped fine
1 cup Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Salt
1 tablespoon Ginger
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Allspice
1 cup Vinegar
2 Red peppers, chopped fine

Directions

Put everything in a large kettle and boil until thick, stirring often so it doesn't stick. Put in sterilized jars and seal. Boiling takes a couple of hours until it is good and thick.
