Homemade dry soup mix

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Nonfat dried milk powder
1 tablespoon Dried onion flakes
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
2 tablespoons Chicken bouillon powder
½ teaspoon Dried basil
½ teaspoon Dried thyme
¼ teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Mix well and store in airtight container.

To make soup, just add 2 cups cold water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.

If soup is too thick, add a little more water. For cream of mushroom soup, add sliced mushrooms just before removing from stove.

NOTES : Use in casseroles and dishes using creamed condensed soups.
