Homemade pancake syrup

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups Water
3 cups Granulated sugar
3 cups Grown sugar
1 cup Corn syrup
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 tablespoon Vanilla
1 tablespoon Maple flavoring

Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients in large saucepan. Stir on medium high until it boils. Add lemon juice, vanilla and maple flavoring. Stir.

Fill hot sterilized bottles to within ¼ inch of top. Seal. Makes 3-½ pints. Origin: Jean Pare's Preserves Book. Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Aug/94.
