Homemade velvet fudge sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Powdered Sugar
1 cup Evaporated Milk
½ cup Margarine or Butter
1 tablespoon Corn Syrup
1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except vanilla. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Reduced heat to low; cook 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream or dessert. Cover; store in refrigerator.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In medium microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients except vanilla; mix well. Microwave on HIGH (100% power) for 4« to 6 minutes or until mixture begins to bubble, stirring twice during cooking. Microwave on DEFROST (30% power) for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking. Stir in vanilla.

Makes 2⅔ cups.
