Honey fudge squares

Ingredients

½ | cup | Butter |
2 | 1-oz squares unsweetened chocolate | |
2 | Eggs | |
½ | cup | Liquid honey |
½ | cup | Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
1 | cup | Sifted all-purpose flour |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ | cup | Chopped walnuts |
Directions
Melt butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; cool slightly. Beat eggs until fluffy. Gradually beat in honey, sugar, vanilla and chocolate mixture. Stir in sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Pour into a greased 9" square pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees F. Cool. Spread with chocolate icing or melted semisweet chocolate and cut in squares.
