Honey mustard pepper & onion ham sandwiches

1 | pack | 16oz Bread Du Jour(2 loaves) |
1 | small | Onion,sliced |
1 | cup | Red, Yellow, or Green Bell |
Pepper strips | ||
1 | tablespoon | Vegetable oil |
2 | tablespoons | Grey Poupon Mustard |
1 | tablespoon | Honey |
4 | slices | Swiss Lorraine cheese |
8 | ounces | Thinly sliced fully cooked |
Ham |
Directions
Bake loaves at 400F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly and split each loaf in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Meanwhile, in large skillet, saute onion and pepper in oil until tender. Stir in mustard and honey and heat through. On same baking sheet, arrange partially split loaves, with cut surfaces facing up. Layer bread evenly with ham vegetable mixture and cheese.
Broil 3-4 inches from heat for 1-2 minutes or until cheese melts.
Close sandwich loaves. Cut each loaf in half and serve immediately.
