Korean sesame marinade

3 | Scallions, minced | |
⅓ | cup | Soy sauce |
3 | tablespoons | Sugar or honey |
1½ | tablespoon | Sesame oil |
1 | teaspoon | Hot red pepper flakes |
½ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
Directions
Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat.
Combine the sesame seeds and the remaining ingredients in a shallow bowl. Marinate fish for 30 minutes, chicken breasts for 1 hour, and thinly sliced beef for 1-2 hours, turning once or twice.
Makes enough for 1«-2 pounds seafood, poultry, or meat.
