Lissa's honey baked onions

Ingredients

8 | mediums | Onions; peeled |
4 | tablespoons | Melted Butter |
4 | tablespoons | Honey |
2 | tablespoons | Tomato Sauce |
¼ | cup | Chicken Broth |
¼ | teaspoon | Paprika |
Salt To Taste |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Cut onions in half crosswise and place, cut side down in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over onions. Cover pan with foil and bake 1 hour or until onions are tender.
My sister has made this for years. She was named for my Father's mother and that is where she got the recipe. She shared it with us and we all love it.
PLEASE, use a sweet onion!
NOTES : Use Vadilia Onions if possible. These are sweet and mild and the flavors mix wonderfully with the honey and chicken broth.
