Llt (lox, lettuce and tomato) sandwich - country cooking

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 Poppy seed or plain bagels, split in half
3 tablespoons Light cream cheese or Neufchatel cheese
Lettuce leaves (Boston, bibb, escarole, or romaine)
1 large Or 4 cherry tomatoes, sliced
¼ pounds Thinly sliced smoked saimon (lox)
1 small Red onion, thinly sliced
teaspoon Drained capers (opt.)
Fresh dill sprigs
Lemon wedges (opt.)

Directions

1 Place bottoms of bagels on 4 sandwich plates. Divide cream cheese among bagels.

2. Top each bagel bottom with lettuce, cover with tomato slices, salmon, onion, capers (if desired), and dill; add remaining bagel half.

3. Serve "LLT" with lemon wedges, if desired.
