Maxine's cornbread muffins

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Corn meal
½ cup Flour
Salt
4 teaspoons Sugar
4 teaspoons Baking powder
1 Egg - beaten
Milk
1 tablespoon Wesson oil

Directions

Beat the egg in a measuring cup. Then add enough milk to the beaten egg to measure ¾ cup. Mix all dry ingredients together. Mix egg, milk and oil together, and add to the dry mixture. Mix well. Pour into muffin pan. Bake at 450 degrees until golden brown - about 15-20 minutes.
