======================================================= ============== ==== == In a large skillet, cook the bacon over low heat until crisp, turning occasionally. Remove the cooked bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Remove and discard all but 2 tablespoons of the drippings from the skillet. Add the onion, pepper, and NOTE: These go with almost any of your favorite grilled foods, so why not warm them on the grill (in an aluminum pan) while cooking up everything else for your next barbecue?
