Mrs. eckerts hot spiced cider

Ingredients

2 quarts Cider
2 Sticks (2-inch) cinnamon
1 teaspoon Allspice
12 Whole cloves
cup Brown sugar-packed
Ground nutmeg to taste

Directions

Seal spices in a cheese cloth bag. Combine cider, sugar in a large sauce pan and heat. Add spice bag and simmer 10 minutes or until cider is spiced to taste. Serve hot with a dash of nutmeg.
