Nutty oven-fried chicken

1 cup Buttermilk biscuit mix
cup Pecans -- finely chopped
2 teaspoons Paprika
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Poultry seasoning
½ teaspoon Dried sage
1 each Broiler-fryer chicken
(2 to 3 pounds) cut up
½ cup Evaporated milk
cup Butter or margarine --
Melted

Directions

In a shallow dish, combine biscuit mix, pecans and seasonings; mix well. Dip chicken pieces in milk; coat generously with pecan mixture.

Place in a lightly greased 13-in, x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish.

Drizzle butter over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350 deg. for 1 hour or until juices run clear. Yield: 6-8 servings Recipe By : Taste of Home
