Orange-tinted cream-cheese frosting

1 pounds Cream cheese; room temperature
8 tablespoons Unsalted butter; room temperature
2 cups Sifted confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Orange food-coloring paste

Directions

In the large bowl of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla and beat on low speed for several minutes until smooth. Using a wooden toothpick, add food-coloring paste to desired color. Makes about 3 cups.
