Oriental-style fish parcels

4 Plaice fillets; defrosted
2 Cm; (1 inch) fresh root
; ginger, grated
2 tablespoons Light soy sauce or fish sauce
Grated rind and juice of 1 lime
1 teaspoon Clear honey
1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
4 Salad onions; cut into thin
; strips
1 large Carrot; cut into thin
; strips
1 small Red pepper; cut into thin
; strips
2 teaspoons Sesame oil
Egg noodles to serve

Directions

Place the fish in a bowl. Mix together the ginger, soy or fish sauce, lime rind and juice, honey and sesame seeds and spoon over the fish to coat.

Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes while preparing the vegetables.

Preheat the oven to 190 C, 375 F, Gas Mark 5.

Brush 4 squares of foil, approximately 30cm (12 inches) in diameter lightly with sesame oil.

Arrange a fillet of plaice in the centre of each square, with some of the marinade and a quarter of the vegetables.

Bring the corners together to form a parcel and place on a baking tray in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, until the fish flakes easily and the vegetables are just tender.

Notes Delicious served with egg noodles or Thai fragrant rice.
