Pea-cheddar sandwich spread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Dry Split Peas
2 cups Water
2 cups Cheddar Cheese ,grated
½ Onion, chopped finely
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Directions

Cook peas in water until tender. In a blender place cooked peas,cheese, onion, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth. Spread on sanwiches, serve warm. From Womens Day Magazine typed by Brigitte Sealing
