Ingredients

½ | cup | Cornflake crumbs |
¼ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | cup | Nuts, coarsely chopped |
¼ | cup | Margarine or butter |
2 | ounces | Unsweetened baking chocolate |
1 | cup | Sugar |
¼ | cup | Peanut butter |
2 | Eggs, slightly beaten | |
Confectioners' sugar |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350oF. Grease a 9"x9"x2" baking pan. Mix cornflake crumbs with baking powder, salt and nuts. Set aside. Melt margarine and chocolate together in medium-sized saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add granulated sugar and peanut butter. Stir until well combined. Add eggs. Beat well. Stir in crumbs mixture.
Spread in prepared pan. Bake about 30 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. When cool, sift confectioners' sugar over top. Cut into 1¾" squares.
