Pears with fruited yogurt sauce

4 | Pears, peeled | |
1 | cup | White wine |
1 | cup | Water |
1 | cup | Lowfat yogurt |
¼ | cup | No sugar added fruit spread |
1 | teaspoon | Almond extract |
4 | Sprigs mint |
Directions
Poach pears in wine and water until soft, about 7 minutes. Combine yogurt with 1 tablespoon fruit spread and ½ teaspoon almond extract. In another bowl, combine remaining spreadand extract. Take yogurt and pour into circles on dessert plates. Make 2 thin circles with fruit spread and swirl with knife. Place pear in center and garnish with mint.
Variation: Use apple juice for wine and water.
