Pecan pie brownies

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup Butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Flour
¼ cup Brown sugar
¼ cup Corn syrup
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1½ cup Pecans -- coarsely chopped
1 pack Brownie Supreme mix

Directions

Heat oven to 350. Melt margarine in 2 qt saucepan. Stir in flour until smooth. Mix in brown sugar, corn syrup and eggs until well blended. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Prepare brownie mix as directed for fudgelike brownies except spoon pecan mixture over batter before baking. Bake 35 minutes. Cool completely.
