Pork sausage patties

12 Servings

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Lean ground pork
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
½ teaspoon Allspice
¼ teaspoon Cloves
¼ teaspoon Ginger

Directions

Put the pork into a mixing bowl. Add the salt, pepper, allspice, cloves, and ginger. Stir well. Divide the mixture into 12 portions. Roll each portion into a ball and flatten it to make a patty. Place a heavy 10-inch skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Arrange 6 sausage patties in the skillet and cook until golden brown (about 3 to 4 minutes on each side).

Put the cooked patties on an ovenproof plate and cover them with foil. Put the plate in a warm oven (200F). Remove any extra grease from the skillet.

Then cook the remaining 6 patties.

YIELD: 12 patties
