½ | cup | Pillsbury Hungry Jack Mashed |
1 | cup | Pillsbury's Best All-Purpose |
Flour | ||
1½ | teaspoon | Baking Powder |
Potato Flakes -- * | ||
1 | pack | Onion Soup Mix |
1 | Egg | |
¼ | cup | Catsup |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | cup | Milk |
3 | tablespoons | Cooking Oil |
Directions
DROP BISCUITS
* May substitute soda cracker crumbs Combine beans and tomatoes in 9-inch square baking dish; spread evenly. Combine ground beef, potato flakes, ¼ cup onion soup mix, egg, catsup and pepper in mixing bowl. Shape into twenty-one 1½-in meatballs. Arrange in three rows lengthwise on top of beans. Bake uncovered at 400 F for 20 mins. Remove from oven. Drop biscuits by tablespoonfuls into 2 rows between meatballs. Bake at 400 F for 20 to 25 mins longer.
Drop Biscuits: Combine dry ingredients with remainder of onion soup mix in mixing bowl. Combine milk and oil; add all at once stirring only until moistened.
Note: For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit baking powder and salt.
Makes 6 servings.
