Red wine rosemary marinated grilled flank steak

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups Dry red wine
4 Sprigs fresh rosemary
4 Sprigs fresh thyme
2 Bay leaves
1 small Onion; coarsely chopped
4 Cloves garlic; coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons Olive oil
1 Flank steak; (2 pound)
Salt and fresh ground pepper; to taste

Directions

1. Place the wine, rosemary, bay leaves, thyme, onion, garlic, and olive oil in a large shallow baking dish and stir to combine.

2. Add the steak and turn to coat both sides.

3. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

4. Heat the grill, remove the meat from the marinade, season on both sides with salt and pepper and grill 6-7 minutes on each side.

5. Let sit 5 minutes and slice against the grain.
