Rice cakes

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Cooked rice (warm)
3 eaches Eggs. seperated
1 cup Milk
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Margarine, melted

Directions

Beat egg yolks and add to warm rice and beat. Add all other ingredients and mix together. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Drop from spoon onto a griddle and brown on both sides. Serve with syrup (Maple is best). Makes about 10 cakes.
